Hello,
We are trying to use notifications within Automation & Orchestration Templates.
Unfortunately, there are several issues:1) some of the notification macro values are not being passed. Example would be password (%Password%)
2) When using a notification template (Admin->Notificaton Profile -> New template) you can insert some variables (not Macros) directly into your notification ie: %givenName% but some variables do not work %userPrincipleName% , %password%, etc..
We have updated to latest release and hotfix build 7240
When receiving a notification from an automation ie:
Some of the variables (not macros) are passed but others are not. When sending a notification automation via orchestration template (notification), variables are not passed at all and neither of some of the macros.
We can meet our notification requirement by scripting notifications using Powershell, but we'd rather use the tools' built-in functions. Unfortunately, they don't work.
Support - Would it be possible to:
Add our own macros to the notifications macros menu: (and fix things like Password macro which doesn't work.)
Can we inject variables for all attributes directly into the notification? ie:
%name%, %sn%, %givenName%, %password%, etc... these do not work
Does the Module selection matter when creating the notification?
Thank you
