Not getting Event Logs
I thought I had followed your instructions for getting Event Logs from my W2k8 servers, but there are none. I used the Quick Configuration Wizard to associate my servers with the event log rules. I've forced errors into a few servers, waited for the post to cycle & there are still no event logs in OpManager.
Is there some special smoke & mirror technique for getting these from W2k8 servers?
Do I need to do anything to the event Log Rules, or can I use them as they are?
What type of Windows account has to be associated with the rules in order to pull them from the server?
