Non-Historical Change Monitoring
You have a 1 TB drive. You've set your monitor at 100 GB for a warning by email. Historically you use 1 GB per day, then one day consumption jumps to 80 GB an hour. Still, the current OpManager model won't let you know about this change from the historical usage to the current usage until you hit 100 GB.
You have a CPU that hovers around 50% usage. You have your warning monitor set at 85% usage. One day the usage jumps from 50% to 83% and stays there. No monitor will alert unless it goes over 85% usage.
It would be really great if OpManager not only provided point analysis and warning but also historical trend aberration analysis and warning. This could trigger alarms for possible problems long before the point in time warnings would actually occur.
