No Notify Options under Configure Ports
In previous version there was an option to uncheck Notify under Configure Ports on Cisco switches, routers, ect. I am currently evaluating OpManager 6 at my new job and found there is only a manage checkbox option under Configure Ports. I have over 30 switches/routers and getting an IF FA xx/xx port down, link down, ect everytime someone unplugs from data port of shutdown their computer.
I would like to only be alerted for important ports such as uplink feeds and fiber connections between the switches, not the individual ports. I remember supressing these in the past by unchecking manage and unchcking notify for the ports I did not care to know about. Only the manage option exist (no notify). Unchecking manage does not seems to supress alerts.
Has anyone gotten around this?
