We have already added all our 10 ESX hosts to OpManager successfully.  If we then deploy new VM's are these imported automatically based on a time or do they need to be added manually , and if so how?

 

Regarding physical servers, they can be added manually. Is there are update on a method to automatically add servers that have been added to ESX hosts, or based upon an daily scheduled IP range scan.  This would ensure new servers arepicked up quickly without any user intervention.

 

Is there any method to automatically remove servers after a specific period of inactivity, say 2 weeks for example.

 

Once a VM is imported will the IP address be updated automatically if its changed, or do we need to update this manually.
