We recommend to try in a test environment first before moving to production server.
Instructions :
a) Users using Servicedesk Plus build version 6000 and above can download the hotfix from the above mentioned link.
b) Users using ServiceDesk Plus build version below 6000 have to download SP 22 and then upgrade to 6005 using SP 27.
Once you apply SP 22, you must start ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus service, stop it and then use SP 27 to migrate to 6005.
How to apply the hotfix :
1. Shut down ServiceDesk Plus Server. 2. Run the script UpdateManager.bat (UpdateManager.sh for Linux) in the <ServiceDesk_Plus_Home>/bin folder. This opens the Update Manager tool. 3. Click "Browse" to select the Service Pack file (AdventNet_ManageEngine_ServiceDesk_Plus_<Version No>_0_0_SP-x_0.ppm file that you had downloaded) and then click "Install...". 4. Follow the on-screen instructions to apply the Service Pack / Hotfix. 5. Once the upgrade is complete, start ServiceDesk Plus Server.

* AD Import/Scan was not working when child node was selected is fixed.
Issues fixed in Hotfix - Build 6004:
* Solutions search on Title, Description and Keywords did not give results even when they were present is fixed. * Solution of other Topics were getting displayed for Topics which did not have a solution directly under them is fixed. * Due date of Request was getting set on a Non working day when Operational hours was set as 24 hours is fixed. * In Bulk Edit, if UDF Pick List is set to 'Leave it as' then value is set to -1 is fixed. * Subcategory/Item not getting populated during page edit is fixed. * Workstation Duplication Problem is fixed. * Attachment containing a comma in filename for an incoming email request was not saved properly is fixed. * Add time entry does not set correctly (i.e. Jan 1 1970 was getting set) in Non English language is fixed. * Resolution date changes when the request was edited is fixed. * Editing a Preventive Maintenance request the group and technician were not getting updated is fixed. * Default values of Request Additional fields were not getting set in New Request form is fixed. * Javascript error thrown on clicking Reports in Russian Language is fixed. * In Summary Report duplicate Workstations are getting displayed is fixed. * In Add Time Entry the time is displayed in 12-hour format instead of 24 hour format is fixed. * In Request->Resolution tab, Technician name was not auto-selected in drop down box for Time Entry is fixed. * In Request Print Preview notes do not appear is fixed. * Approval link to support https is fixed. * When group notification for technicians is added and saved ($Ticket Owner) is not getting saved is fixed. * NullPointerException was getting thrown on Approving a Request is fixed.
