New Test environment - Disabling reports, email fetching, etc.

We are in the process of building a test environment. To do this, we installed SDP on a new test server. We then dumped the production database from MS SQL to a backup file and used that to build a new database on a new MS SQL server. I then turned on the new test instance of SDP and discovered just how much of the configuration of SDP is stored in the Database. Right now the service is turned off. I'd like to turn it back on in order to allow me to do a test upgrade from 7.6.0 build 7610 to 8.0, but I don't want people getting bombarded with emails from reports and other scheduled tasks based on stale data.

My question to you is, what do I need to change or disable in SDP in order to convert the database from a production configuration to a test instance? What are the SQL commands I would need to issue to do this?

As best I can tell I need to:
- Change the email account that is used for fetching
- Disable or delete scheduled reports

What else do I need to do?

Thanks!
