New features?
Are there any new features coming out soon that people have requested? Many of the other products your company is developing have a Product RoadMap posted in the forums.
We hear "we will try to add this to a future release" alot but we never know when that future release will happen. So far 95% of the updates released for OpManager has been fixes over the last 6 months. When will new features and functions be added that people have requested?
I ask this because my company uses a few of your products and I have had people that work on those products ask me what features I need and then they add them.
We are told that you already have several of features we request already on your list for future updates but we do not have a roadmap for them to be added.
One thing your product is really lacking compared to your competition is the mapping. All major NMS products have a excellent mapping features which is really needed when you are projecting maps on walls or displaying them on large screens. Right now you give a basic tool to add a image for a map and the ability to click on a link to take you to another map. Right now I have to try to hunt down map images on google to use and hope I can locate some that look good and MATCH. This is one reason I need google maps built in like you have for Application Manager, I need something that you can zoom down to instead of creating a map for each state and city. If you added the Google Maps and allow us to click down to the device from that map it would look and work great.
Can you please add a post that shows what features are being worked on and an estimated time to completion?
