All the switches we monitor with OpManager all show the same alarm which was generated around the same time:

Attention 2012-12-12 11:11:18 New device(s) added to the Port {00:1B:78:57:0E:28]

There are multiple alarms on each switch showing different MAC addresses for each instance of the alarm.

I can't see why these alarms have been generated or how to suppress them. There's nothing on the switch logs to suggest anything happened, and there are no snmp or syslog rules configured within OpManager to alert us on this event.

All the switches that have this alarm are Cisco Catalysts (different models) and we are using OpManager Enterprise v 9400. The switches are polled using SNMP v2.

Does anyone know what causes this alarm and how to turn it off?
