New - Desktop notifications - how to install for all and control

I am interested in using the new feature - desktop notifications.
But I have questions.
How do I allow all of my technicians to have this feature? Do I have to go to every single technicians desktop and enable it - or is there a way to enable it for all my technicians using GPO?
How can I make sure that a notification is sent via the desktop notification? For example it would be nice if I could send the 'You have been mentioned in a task comment' as a desktop notification AND an email notification. I dont see a way to control that. Ideally there would be a checkbox that said "Also send this notification to as a Desktop notification' or only as a desktop notification or only as an email notification.
