New actions are not visible

I created a new SNMP Trap action which is not visible in the list when I select view actions. This means that I cannot make changes to this action or delete it.
The action exists because if I try & create an action with the same name, the product refuses saying that an action with the same name already exists which is normal. Also when I configure alerts the action is visible in the lists of available or associated actions.
I have stopped & restarted App Manager & have performed a repairDB but it still refuses to list all the actions. Can you help me :?:
