Network Configuration Manager not Detecting Desktop PCs

Network Configuration Manager not Detecting Desktop PCs

Hi everyone,

I hope you're all doing well. I'm currently facing an issue with the Network Configuration Manager from ManageEngine, and I was hoping to get some assistance here.

The problem I'm encountering is that the Network Configuration Manager doesn't seem to be detecting some of our desktop pc computer on the network. We have a mixed environment with various types of devices, including desktops running Windows operating systems.

I've checked the SNMP configurations on these desktops, and they seem to be correct. The SNMP service is running, and the community strings match what we have configured in the Network Configuration Manager.

Despite this, these desktops are not being discovered or inventoried by the Network Configuration Manager.

I've already tried a few troubleshooting steps such as:

Restarting the SNMP service on the affected desktops.
Ensuring that the SNMP community strings are correctly configured.
Verifying that the desktops are reachable from the Network Configuration Manager server.
However, none of these steps have resolved the issue.

I'm reaching out to this community to see if anyone has encountered a similar problem or has any suggestions for further troubleshooting steps I could take to resolve this issue.

Your help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance.
