Network Configuration Management plugin for OpManager 9 pulls hosts, but not credentials or asset details from opmanagerdb
Good day folk,
It appears redundant, that one would install the Network Configuration Management plugin for OpManager 9, and have to retype credentials/asset details all over again for a separate MySQL DB instance for each and every network device.
Is there anyway we can get a sync right off the bat, something like:
IF installing for OpManager, THEN:
IF SNMPcredentials table exists in opmanagerdb, THEN:
INSERT SNMPcredentials-stuff INTO `deviceexpert`.`somecredentialtable` (ncm db)
...and then do the same with asset details, please?
It only seems like a few tables need to be checked here...if you manage to get the SQL working, too, we'd love a copy so we can avoid time wasted on redoing some amount of data entry here.
Thanks,
