We do a bit of in-house software development. We currently use the Service Catalog to track custom software changes. When we go to update our software, we create a Change request and associate the requests there. We are really wanting to move to the Releases feature, but it only allows us to associate changes. It seems really redundant to create a change request, then create a release, then associate the two together. I would really prefer to just associate service requests with a release. We already have a workflow made for service requests for approving these, and I would like to continue using our current process and workflow with releases. And I don't want to switch to changes to tracking individual software change requests because the Change requests are overkill for these types of requests. Are there any plans to incorporate requests with releases?
