I need an option that would allow end users to schedule the reboot when ManageEngine requires a restart after installing the patches/softwares. At present, our policy permits users to postpone the restart for a maximum of 24 hours, after which the system will be restarted forcefully with 30 mins restart time period.
Many of our end users prefer to perform the restart after office hours; however, the current options are limited to "restart now" and "postpone restart." By providing a scheduling option, users would have the flexibility to choose a time that suits them best, similar to creating a task scheduler to restart at the specific time.
This option is particularly important in my environment, as certain departments operate on various shifts, including those that run 24/7. I hope this will be helpful for other companies as well.
