mysql slow, not getting fully backed up.
my mysql folder is about 5GB.. maybe too big, too much data.. but I know lots of people use mysql heavier. seems to take 12+ hours to back up, maybe not even successfully. have run repairdb. not sure what else to do but migrate to MSSQL.
we have production MSSQl over 600GB and only takes 1:30 - 2:30 to back up.
any suggestions anyone?
