mysql error in logs..
Hi , my unix servers are not being reported, some data is not being collected. I have checked the log files and can see the following error - 6 May 2008 12:00:43:324 com.mysql.jdbc.PacketTooBigException: Packet for query is too large (2348253 > 1048576). You can change this value on the server by setting the max_allowed_packet' variable.
Should I set the value ? why does it need to be double the set value all of a sudden?
