MYSQL database filling up hard drive

MYSQL database filling up hard drive

We are having an issue with Desktop Central filling up the D: drive.  After investigating, we found that the ibdata1 file is 30.5 GB and growing.  Is there a way to either trim this database down, or slow down it's growth?  We have patch management and AD reporting turned on.
