We've been using PMP for most of a year now, and it seems to work ok. But it is very slow in changing passwords as it only operates on a single machine at a time, and we have several thousand workstations - all accessible only via various WAN circuits.

 

Is there any consideration to making PMP multithreaded, so it can work on 10-100 computers at a time (adjustable)?

 

We frequently never receive "completion" reports because password resets on larger sets of machines never successfully complete before the next schedule comes up.

 

Another suggestion - a report showing which machines have been successfully updated and which haven't in a given job would be great - along with a means to restart the reset on the "failed" machines.

 

Right now - this all appears to be manual and/or undoable.
