I would like to know if this is possible..

 

We would like to create multiple Resources that target different sets of domain accounts of the same domain.  The reason for doing so is to apply differening Access Controls on these different classes of accounts (for example different Administrators or different Exclusivity periods)

 

We like to be able to reset the passwords using a single domain account that is stored in a different resource group - whilst we can put the same domain account in every resource and set it to be the account to do the remote reset it results in a huge amount of duplication (for example we may have well over 100 Resources)

 

So we would like to be able to specifiy a domain account from the same domain as that specified in the resource when the resource is set to WindowsDomain. But this account is held in a different Resource and cant be accidently shown to the users requesting passwords in the Resources

 

The help notes suggest that the service account that PMP runs under in the Domain (if its a Domain Admin) will be used to reset the password if the password reset under the account be reset fails

 

i.e.

Remote Password reset:Windows & Windows Domain:Configure Remote Password Rest: Bullet point 4

 

However this does not work on WindowsDomain accounts - so I guess its aimed only a Domain Members ??
