Multiple issues with published profile.
1) When setting GPS to "Always On" policy, it did not stop user from toggling location to OFF.
It does give a warning of non-compliance of policy and gives 5 minutes countdown.
Once the 5 minutes is up, it doesn't auto toggle location to ON.
Is it suppose to stop user from toggling the location switch in the first place ?
What is the expected behaviour at the end of the 5 minutes countdown ?
Even if the user complies and manually turn the location to ON, at the end of 5 minutes same warning of non-compliance still appears and the 5 minutes countdown began on every phone restart.
It doesn't recognize location already ON.
What should I do ?
2) I marked some software as "Blacklisted" where the ManageEngine MDM should uninstall it, but it didn't.
It didn't block the software from launching, but it will launch the non-compliance notification and the blacklisted software will still launch.
What is the expected behaviour of this policy ?
3) Unmarking software from the blacklist it not straight forward, it need to be selected from Groups or Device list. But the both the search list is empty, so the blacklisted software cannot be unmarked.
Typing the device name in the search box, comes up with nothing.
How to solve this ?
4) The Kiosk mode did not trigger upon phone startup even I set it to run Chrome on single App mode.
How is the Kiosk mode triggered ?
5) Ecrypting the storage is not set to active in the profile.
However, After installing on Android 5.1 device emulator, it forces device encryption to be turned on and the emulator hangs after device restarts to start the encryption process.
When installed on a physical Andriod 4.4.4 device, there is no prompt to encrypt the device which is my expected behaviour.
Is this encryption mandatory on Android 5 and above ?
