Multiple device object referring to the same physical device

Is it possible to add the same physical device with multiple ip to different device objects(and device type) under OpManager?
I mean, i've some multisite aggregate L3/L4 switches that have multiple vlan/ip and are running under OSPF; those switches are connected in a partial mesh using some other distribuition level switches and WiMax briges: the question is how can monitor (ping availbility) those distrubution switches using the different interfces VLAN/IP? OpManager say that the davice is already added and let me ping only the ip of primary/native vlan address.

Last but non least a coulple of feature requests:
1) a trace route or end-to-end probe
2) a route table entry monitor
