MSSQL - Cache hit ratio in 2005 missing, tried the usual
hi,
If I use perf monitor I get cache ratio around 90%, in opmanager I am getting "N/A".
See no errors in Opman logs (note: red herring below)
wmiadap /f then restart WMI, no errors in MS logs, waited 24 hours.
"Log Cache Hit Ratio" and "Transactions Per Sec" also "N/A"
For "test monitor" I get "The Monitor did not respond to the test request"
Maybe Opmanager thinks SQL2005 is SQL2000?
"MSSQL.MSSQLCache.MSSQLCacheHitRatio" where do I find what WMI class/object is actually used?
Red herring:
Opmanager polls SQL2000 for 2005 classes and visa versa!
