MSP Model w/ changing of hetrogenous devices

We are a managed services provider for network infrastructure, telephony and datacenter solutions.
We are actively looking for a solution that will allow us to manage access to customer's passwords across a wide variety of devices (servers, switches, routers, firewalls, vmware, etc.) and change passwords (for example when one of our engineers leave).
We'd like the ability to place an agent/probe at each customer site and have it change Windows passwords (which you can already do in PMP) but, more importantly, the probe can change passwords on other devices (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.).
Ideally, this probe would communicate back to the main server via a push model over a secure channel.
Do you have anything like this in the works? We could customize the syntax needed to perform the password change depending on the device (we sell Juniper, Foundry, VMWare, etc.).
