MS SQL Backend - AD Authentication

MS SQL Backend - AD Authentication

Hello, all!

I am currently using OpManager 7 on a Windows XP SP2 Pro machine to monitor my network. Recently, I've purchased a web server so that I could consolidate a few of our internal web services.

The current configuration is running using all of the installer's defaults (MySQL database, etc). I would like to do 2 things:

1. Set up a new installation of OpManager on this new server. I would like to use it with an MS SQL database backend.

2. Port my configuration and data from the MySQL server to the MS SQL server

Here is my issue -- I'm stuck on step 1. I've gone ahead and set up an AD user name for OpManager to use. I've created a database within my SQL 2000 server and set this user name (really original -- "opmanager) to be the owner of said database. During the second phase of installation (database set up), I'm prompted for credentials. I've tried many variations of the user name (DOMAINNAME\opmnanager, opmanager, etc) and I don't seem to be able to get the installer to continue. I get the error that is shown in the screen shot below ("Unable to load the Jtds Driver"). I know my credentials are correct and that the database is set up correctly.

Any thoughts? Any help is appreciated.

TIA,
Brian
