monitoring windows server accross internet
hi,
i want to monitor a windows server with the applications manager 8. the windows server 2003 is located at a hosting company - connection through the internet (without vpn).
when i configure the monitor, i get an error message: "Kindly check whether the RPC Server is running in the System"
OS Type: windows 2003
mode of monitoring: WMI
user name: a local windows user
i opened following ports for WMI in windows firewall:
TCP 135
TCP 4168
UDP 9256
other ports like 80, ... are open, too.
which ports i have to enable?
