Monitoring Windows 2003 Domain Controller
Can anyone tell me what we need to do to monitor a Windows 2003 Domain Controller? What services need to be running, does the account require administrative rights? I would like step by step instructions if at all possible. We have SMNP installed and WMI SNMP provider. We are still having some problems seeing some stuff. namely the AD stuff listed under AD STore, Network, Performance Counters. What else is required on the domain controller?
