Monitoring SQL Statements

Is there a limit on how WTA sees whats happening in SQL Statements? I ask this because my WTA list shows numerous executeUpdate/executeQuery calls, but no SQL is attached. Is there a limit on WTA's ability to monitor the executed SQL? I have noticed that the sample transaction uses prepared statements. Is this a limit?
