Monitoring firmware level
Hi!
We monitor about 40 firewalls with SNMP, and i need to be able to check that they all have the correct firmware installed. I've tried to add a custom monitor that reads the system description via SNMP (it returns "Clavister Firewall 8.50.02-PRE006V"), but I'm unable to set any kind of threshold on this value, since it not an integer. Do you have any other feature I could use?
BTW: After a power failure our OpManager database chrashed. I sent a mail to support on how to correct this, and got a mail back the same day asking me to send the log files. I then did this, but haven't heard anything from you in more than two weeks, resulting in a new install and manually adding more than a hundred systems...
