Monitoring 64-bit Counters with SNMP
I am using OpManager 8 to monitor the spare disk space on an Isilon cluster. The number of free blocks is represented as a 64-bit counter. I can read the counter in MIB Browser by setting the version of SNMP to v2c. I have tried to add a monitor to OpManager to monitor this counter but the monitor returns zero. I assume this is because OpManager is using SNMP v1 queries.
How can I force OpManager to use SNMP v2c queries with this device? Can I do this within a Device Template?
