monitor Process or monitor Port of Process, which better???
hi,
i just want to monitor the process of windows eg. svchost.exe TCP Port135, i used to monitor this process by using other sw. it allow us to choose the monitored service from the process list retrieved from that server.
for OpManager, it work in another way, by specifying TCP port number. i don't know which method is better. Sometime process may error but port 135 still open.
So we'll get alert from Opmanager or not in this case.
do u have any recommendations?
