Monitor information in 7.505

We are on ServiceDesk 7.505 with a MSSQL backend. The ability to pull the monitor serial numbers from each workstation is a really nice feature. I am having some difficulty in working with this information and would like to know if it is currently possible to do the following?

1. Whenever I view the monitor information in ServiceDesk, it has appended 2 foreign characters to the end of the serial number. An example is: CNG55503GX췍췍
Is there a way to fix this, and confirm that others see this issue?

2. This is the main issue I am having. If I do a search for the monitor serial number through the ServiceDesk search pane, I cannot get any results. I have tried various combination's of Asset and Workstation searches...with and without the 2 foreign characters, with no success. However, I can create a report to get the monitor serial numbers. If ServiceDesk does not have this functionality, can you please consider it for a future hot fix?

3. Would it be possible to create a specific asset view, or category to just manage/list the monitors? The child information of these records would then be which computer owns the monitor, any trouble tickets associated with the monitor, associated costs with the monitor, asset state, and history?

If anyone can confirm that they are seeing the same things happen, please reply to confirm.
