Modify group attributes of the users | CSV Format

Hello everyone,

Am looking to find out the correct format for a CSV to import, for a task using the " Modify group attributes of the users" function, and clarification that I am understanding this process correctly.

We currently have a very large e-mail distribution group that almost 200 people are a member of now, but within that group there are now 2 distinct services, and they do not need to really see internal comms from the "other half". Some of our more experienced staff, however, will still need both.  So at the moment we have the group called "Call Handlers" that 100% of our agents are in. I need to be able to take CSV files from the department manager that will describe the split. So one would be "Call Handlers A" and "Call Handlers B". Some names would be on both lists.

Firstly, what format do I need to ask for these CSVs to be in? The same users one available from the help pages shows the headers:
name givenName sAMAccountName description physicalDeliveryOfficeName telephoneNumber accountExpires homePhone mobile department company

Our managers not having visibility of the AD might not know much of this at all. All they would have is the agents name, and their SAM Account name / logon. Any help in getting this correct would be appreciated.

Once I have this, my plan was to run the " Modify group attributes of the users" once for each of the CSVs, firstly configured to "Add to group: Call handlers A" - "Remove from group: Call Handlers", then run the second CSV for Call Handlers B. I would not put anything in the primary group field. Would this achieve the goal I am going for?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Craig
