Mobile Device Manager Plus enhances support for Mac and iOS 12.2

Mobile Device Manager Plus now supports the enterprise related features released with iOS 12.2 and also adds support for essential Mac features and restrictions.

With the release of iOS 12.2, Apple has provided enterprises additional control over Siri, Hotspot and eSIM configurations. The admins can now achieve the following with Mobile Device Manager Plus:
  1. Prevent users from removing a pre-configured eSIM or adding new eSIM on devices.

  2. Prevent Siri from recording searches and storing data for logs.

  3. Prevent users from configuring Hotspot on mobile devices.

Mobile Device Manager Plus now also supports various configurations in Mac machines like content caching and Gatekeeper to help organizations ensure data security. With Mobile Device Manager Plus, admins can mandate whether apps developed by identified developers or apps downloaded from sources other than the App Store can be run on Mac machines. They can also prevent users from overriding the Gatekeeper settings configured by the admin.

The complete list of supported restrictions on Mac is available  here . Upgrade to build number 92527 to give these features a try with Mobile Device Manager Plus.
