Mobile Device Manager Plus enhances its app management capabilities

With Windows multi-app Kiosk and test and deploy support for enterprise apps, Mobile Device Manager Plus further simplifies app management in organizations.

Test and deploy enterprise apps
Organizations that develop apps in-house need to test out every app update before upgrading the app in the production environment to ensure the app update is compatible with all the devices and new OS versions. Testing apps is also required to ensure that the new app version doesn't affect user productivity after upgrade. Admins can now upload an additional version, marked as  beta for testing purpose. This app can then be distributed to a test group of devices. Upon successful testing, the app can be marked as  stable which will automatically update the apps in all the devices.

Test and deploy support for enterprise apps is available from Mobile Device Manager Plus build #92663. Refer this document for the steps to give this feature a try.

Multi-app Kiosk
Organizations using Windows 10 devices for digital signage or schools using Windows 10 laptops, can now lock down their Windows 10 laptops and Surface Pro to multiple apps. The admin only needs to select the apps that should to be present on the device and these apps will automatically be distributed to the devices. The user will not be able to access any other apps or device functionalities.

NOTE: Currently, Mobile Device Manager Plus only supports adding apps distributed by MDM and system apps into Kiosk. If you are looking to add apps already available in the device or MSI apps, fill out this roadmap to help us prioritize your requirement.

Multi-app Kiosk is available from Mobile Device Manager Plus build #92663. Refer this document for the steps to put devices into Kiosk.
