Missing search results (Lucene index) after upgrade to 14.7 Build 14700

Hello,

After upgrading ServiceDesk Plus from 14.3 Build 14304 to 14.7 Build 14700, we are now missing the vast majority of our Global Search results across all modules. Queries that previously returned hundreds of results, dating all the way back to 2016 (oldest database entries), now only give us a few results from the last 1-3 months.

All database entries are still present, we can open the All Requests view and perform a column search as normal. But anything that depends on the Lucene index is mostly missing. We saw a message about rebuilding the index during one of the upgrades, and thought it was just a matter of time. But over 3 days the number of results has only grown by about 60%, at this rate it will take years (if it ever finishes).

We tried running reIndexData.bat AllModule in our mirrored test environment. It completed successfully in about 2 hours, but the improvement was only minor. Our test environment now returns search results from the last 10-12 months, not the full 8 years. Multiple attempts with just reIndexData.bat Request were also made, but the outcome never changed, always stopping at the last 10-12 months.

Any help is greatly appreciated, this problem is crippling our workflow...
