I've been attempting to migrate the ManageEngine Server from a Windows 2008 server to a Linux (CentOS) server. The installation and such went fine, it's the database restore that messes up the ServiceDesk.
Every time I try to restore the database it pretty much ends up with the same problem: "Unable to restore database : null, message from server: Data too long for column 'NOTESTEXT' at row 1".
After attempting to restore the database, trying to restore the previous one is impossible. There is also the problem that AdventNetServiceDesk [FAILED] appears after a failed attempt to restore the database. To solve this, I have to re-install ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus.
Could anyone help me out with this?
