migrating from mysql to sql

migrating from mysql to sql

I am going to be migrating my installtion to another server. I am currently using build 6008. When I install ServiceDesk on the new server, can I just install build 6008 or do I have to install ServiceDesk the same way it was installed on the old server (install version 5, install all the service packs until I get to build 6008)?
