Migrate to a new Active Directory domain in servicedesk

Hello everyone,

I have to move our on premise servicedesk into a new Active Directory domain. 
 
The existing domains already exist in SDP,, is syncing and users can login from with their accounts.  Users will be moved into the new AD domain using and their emails will change. E.g: josh@domainA.com will be josh@domainB.com. And then the old domain will cease to exist.  
 
So, I have a few questions...
 
1. When a user is moved from domainA to domainB will they still be able to access their requests, history and their associated devices? 



2. Are there best practices to follow when moving SDP into a new domain?  Is there a recommended way of doing this
