Migrate from Patch Manager Plus to Endpoint Central, or can i deploy software Packages with Patch Manger Plus?
Dear community,
A few weeks ago I rolled out Patch Manager Plus to my network (20 clients total, mixed servers and endpoints).
Overall I'm very satisfied.
I wanted to improve my patch management and this is what happened.
In the meantime, however, I doubt whether I would have done a better job of introducing Endpoint Central.
I packaged some standard software using PSAppDeployToolKit and hoped to be able to distribute these packages somehow using the script repository.
Unfortunately, I discovered that Patch Manager Plus is actually just patch management.
As the name suggests ;-)
Now to my actual question, is there a way, which I unfortunately haven't seen yet, with which I can distribute software packages with the Patch Manger Plus without there being a patch behind it?
Or, how can I quickly and painlessly migrate from Patch Manager Plus, the entire instance, to Endpoint Central.
I would prefer to simply install Endpoint Central on the server via Patch Manager Plus.
Is this possible?
