Microsoft SBS2003 Exchange SMTP Connector

Hi I am testing OpManager and have setup the exchange monitoring but the outbound SMTP monitor doesn't appear to work. I am using an SMTP connector to forward email an ISP smart host. Is it possible to monitor the SMTP connector or only the SMTP Virtual Servers?
