Microsoft is enforcing Multi-Factor Authentication

Dear customers ,

Microsoft has announced its plans to enforce mandatory multi-factor authentication (MFA) for Azure and all other integrations involving Microsoft services.

So, if you have integrated your Microsoft account for ServiceDesk Plus Cloud integrations, please implement MFA for the Microsoft account.

Key Details:

  • Impact: All existing tokens generated without MFA will expire on the effective date, which depends on the respective Microsoft Tenant.

  • Required Action: To ensure continued access, please re-enable Microsoft integrations by using MFA authentication before the expiration date.

What You Need to Do:

  1. Reconfigure Integrations:

    • Please update your current Microsoft integrations to support MFA.

    • Re-enable ServiceDesk Plus Cloud integrations with Microsoft in our application such as Mail Settings using Modern Authentication, Azure AD user sync, Import from Azure, Microsoft Azure, Outlook calendar, Outlook Actionable Messages, Microsoft Intune and OneDrive cloud Attach using MFA authentication.

  2. Verify and Test:

    • After reconfiguring the integrations, test them to verify whether the integrations function as expected with MFA.

  3. Contact Support:

Thanks & Regards,
