We seem to have a number of duplicate products, especially when people have order new printers and called them slightly different names. Is there a way to merge these together?

Also is it possible to check for products when in the purchase form before added a new product, it seems that if you buy a product from a different vendor it is not shown in the list and you have to leave the purchase screen and goto assets to add the vendor to the product
