Memory monitor and alarm repoting high utilization
We have the default memory utilization performance monitor set up to alarm at > 70% and rearm at 60%. The problem we have is that the alarm and memory monitor is constently reporting 95% or more memory usage.
When I clear the alarm, and get a new alarm reporting 99% memory utilization, I log into the server and open task manager.
Task manager is reporting:
1.5GB physical memory
541MB available
pagefile usage is 665MB - the total size is 4096MB so its only using a small amount.
Why is Opmanager reporting 95% or more memory usage? How does Opmanager calculate memory usage?
