I use the AD sync tool in my org to sync user details to my service desk plus on demand...
I have multiple tenants in my suite that I separate into multiple sites... So something like "DC Company1" "DC Company2, etc. etc...."
Company 1 is my organization, and Company 2,3,4 are other companies that we support in the same geographical region... (some sit in our offices, some across the street, etc..)
Everyone but Company 1 is not in our AD in any way...
Everyone in Company 1 is synced from AD to ServiceDesk, but in the field 'physicalDeliveryOffice' which is mapped to the "Site" field is simply "DC"
Is there a way for me to make it so that "DC" in the 'physicalDeliveryOffice' maps to "DC Company1" in the helpdesk? (like a SELECT AS or something to that effect)
I do NOT want to change it to "DC Company1" as it would affect a zillion other things and look weird as it propagates out to other applications...
I also don't want a site to be simply named "DC" in my helpdesk, as that can be confusing.
I don't want to reorganize our helpdesk to use different regions and I have considered making Company 2,3,4 different "departments", but that does not really align with how I want it to be set up...
I am aware that I could use another random AD Attribute but I would also like to avoid that.
Thanks!!!
