There are several problems with the Map Maker utility installed on our Opmanager Server.
1) From the Server side (Windows 2003 Standard Edition, w/ a SQL 2005 DB): We login to the Map Maker utility and add devices to a business view. Our business views currently contain 5 devices each. We have the DB Server, Web Server, Switch, and Routers. We have a very simple setup and only need to add the designated devices to each Business View. The problem is that when using the Server side Map Maker it sometimes takes several attempts to add the devices and save the view. No Errors are received. So we try adding the devices a second and third time. Sometimes it works and other times it does not.
2) From the Browser Side (I.E. 8.0 and Firefox 3.5.6): We open the Business View. Select Edit. And proceed with adding devices. The devices show up. Then when clicking on save it deletes the added devices. Again "No Errors" are received instead the devices are never added to the view. Presently it is hit or miss. Sometimes it works and other times it does not.
Please advise what we can do to alleviate these issues. As indicated it is hit or miss at this point.
