Managing multiple versions of Play Store apps using Mobile Device Manager Plus

Managing multiple versions of Play Store apps using Mobile Device Manager Plus

It is important for an organization to select the best version of apps to ensure their compliance standards. In order to ensure app reliability, you need to test the new features and fixes on test devices, before deploying the app's versions to the production environment. Google has introduced Application Track Management, which allows the App developers to add new versions of an app as tracks in the Play Store and make them available to specific organizations. Mobile Device Manager Plus provides you with the ability to test these app versions or tracks on smaller groups before rolling them out to all devices. Besides managing multiple versions of Play Store Apps, you can also add new versions of Google hosted private apps (In-house apps) and manage them. To learn more about private Play Store apps click here.

Note: This feature is available for both On-Premises and Cloud. If you are using the On-Premises version, it is available from builds 10.1.2207.2 and above. For more information about service packs and hotfixes or to upgrade to the latest build, click here.
