ManageEngine Service Desk Plus on Fedora Core 13

ManageEngine Service Desk Plus on Fedora Core 13

Hello,

I am a IT Professional from a Small Company here in the Central US that offers Managed IT Services. We have been using a webhosted Solution (AutoTask) to run our Helpdesk for our Customers. But, recently with over 6000 Items that need to be added to our Configuration Item Database, we have ran into issue with having to pay someone to add them all to our database, or use a third-party macro program to add them. We are looking to move our Helpdesk to internal servers.

I have been put in charge of Testing out different Help/ServiceDesk systems, and this is one that I found that I have a particular interest in.

My test box for this is Fedora Core 13 x64 (on VMWare ESX). I downloaded the .bin from the site.
Changed Ownership to root, and tried executing the .bin from inside the Fedora VM. I get an output of
  1. [root@localhost opt]# ./ManageEngine_ServiceDesk_Plus.bin -v
  2. InstallShield Wizard
  3. Initializing InstallShield Wizard...
  4. Searching for Java(tm) Virtual Machine...
  5. .
  6. Preparing Java(tm) Virtual Machine...

  14. ...................................
  15. ........[root@localhost opt]#
And well, that's about where it stops, no installation window as described in the install instructions.
Is there a complete list of Pre-Requisites somewhere, because I'm sure I'm missing something.
