We are happy to announce the availability of ManageEngine EventLog Analyzer Service Pack 2 (Build 4020).

The new release enhances the log forensic capabilities of EventLog Analyzer, empowers Network Administrators to import windows event logs and generate instant reports, and supports enhanced reports for SOX Compliance and Cisco Devices

New Features and Enhancements

12. Export to PDF or CSV for All reports.
13. Option to disable Important Events from exported PDF reports.
14. Option for receiving reports in PDF instead of ZIP.
15. Provision to test mail server settings.
16. Reset LogCollector option to restart SysEvtCol.exe (Log Collector troubleshooting).
17. Facility to change the archive directory location.

Bug Fixes

01. Exported PDF reports of Unix hosts contains windows hosts summary.
02. Log messages not shown when compliance reports are exported to PDF.
03. Improved performance in complete view reporting.
04. Exception handling for host groups that become empty has been handled.
05. Exported custom reports in PDF contains important events by default.
06. In Edit Alert Profile, 'Number of occurrences' and 'Occurring within' fields were getting wrongly populated.

Known Issues

01. The inbuilt MySQL database of EventLog Analyzer could get corrupted if other processes are accessing these directories. Kindly exclude the EventLog Analyzer installation directory 'AdventNet' (it could be in C:\AdventNet or D:\AdventNet) from both the Backup process and Anti-Virus Scans.
