Currently, announcements are only displayed on the users Home page. Since SDP will open onto tabs such as the Service Catalog or Requests page, important announcements might be missed by users who normally have some tab other than the Home tab displayed on start up.

 

I suggest that announcements should be made available on all tab for all users
